Timbres de Poste
Though I'm not a philatelist, I do have a lot of French stamps, for the sheer joy of looking at their design and color. And gluing them onto objects.

Keep the banner you've got. Philately will get you nowhere. And with all those stamps, it's too busy for a banner
Keep the banner you have, but make it a bit smaller. Right now it fills up my screen. Those three stamps are quite old (not rare, just old). I'd say in the 1930's or '40's.
I really appreciate the feedback!
I'm trying to figure out how to make the banner smaller. It fills up my screen too.
I think the letter is dated 1925.
When I was in Paris in September, I bought a pack of stamps up at the Antique Market north of Montmarte. I am going to inbed them in resin to make jewlery. They make really neat pendants
Maybe a minority opinion, but I loved the previous Métro station banner.
Second choice is a resized envelope banner; the stamps don't move me, non-philatelist that I am.
Great idea for jewelry, Gail.
The thing I don't like about stamps is trying to organize them, so IMHO better to plaster them onto a tray & shellac the whole thing.
Hi Shelli - we'll keep the polls open. Thanks for checking in.
I love your current header but the idea of using these stamps would be lovely as well!
Thanks- I do love them, too. However, I might try to find a way to use them with various posts that I don't have other graphics for.
