As I turned out the lights at bedtime last night, I realized there was a full moon. The beams shone directly onto the tiles of my kitchen floor. My amateur photography skills don't do it justice. It looked as if it were from my favorite childhood book, Goodnight Moon.
Goodnight stars, and goodnight air. Goodnight noises everywhere.
It also reminded me of the daytime version, last fall.

We've had fabulously clear skies here on the Canadian West Coast and the full moon has been gloriously reflected in the water in front of my home the last few nights. Lovely to think of it shining down on Paris at the same time.
Lovely, indeed. Someone once said, "If you look at the sun, you'll go blind; if you look at the moon, you'll become a poet."
Here's to poetry!
The nighttime picture has a ghostly, eerie 'feel' to it.
Starman - Thanks; I know what you mean, and that's why I feel I didn't do justice to it.
The digital photo came out 100% black, but when I scanned it and "autofixed" it, this much light appeared.
It was actually quite enchanting -- a blue-grey beautiful rectangle of light on the kitchen floor. I was floored!
I tried to take it with a flash, too, but that showed just a huge flash of floor.
Anyway, I try to show how "outside" Paris can enter into "inside" Paris. I would never have known about the full moon if it hadn't been shining at the right angle. Lucky me!
Lovely moonlight photo!!!

Hmm, I had not read other comments, before I make mine. Seems there was a run on the description of... 'lovely.' ,-) Well, it is!
