Egad, Starman! I guess I'm out of the loop. Or else prior to Paris I lived in New England for too long (only good for sturdy wooden outdoor furniture). I read your comment and immediately google-searched patio furniture, and you're soo right:
But why do they call it 'Lisbon'? It seems so French to me (they did call it bistro...) Anyway, I'd never seen anything quite so delicate before, and this photo was from a garden in France. It looked so romantic. And I do like the graceful curve of the legs better on the French version.
My mother (who lived in France 20 years) furnished the family home with delightful and uncomfortable chairs. It seemed like she had a predilection for those. It was pretty, but you simply could not sit on them!
I love the French patio furniture sets . They sometimes are very uncomfortable, but I found that if I add a small cushion that it makes it much better. Thanks for sharing!

I loved your description.
But damned uncomfortable: as flirtation often is (can't you tell I'm English?).
It looks like the patio furniture they sell down here in Florida.

Lovely furniture and your desciption is so apt!
I knew you were pulling my leg.
Oh, Mary Blake -- Qui, moi?
Maybe it was someone else pulling your leg with footsie under the table (such a charming vixen you are)!
Ooh lala.
