My local used-book store today yielded up not one, but two! Polly Platt books--French or Foe? and Savoir Flair! Thanks to you, I immediately recognized them as the literary gems they are sure to be and snapped them up.
It's a very curious and clever protest sign. People equate health care reform with Socialism and Socialism with France. Certain Americans enjoy insulting the French in ways that they would never use against any other country. That sign encorporates a lot into one small statement. (I made it my screen saver photo!!!) -Dale
